Life at the Park

Hey... is that my cheerio?

Mom, you ate it!

Hey Daddy...she ate my Cheerio!

Oooh...this is tricky.

Silly rascal, that's what you get for stealing my cereal.

If you sit real still, they'll always take a picture. Kind of funny.
I gotta do nothin to be entertaining.

And my parents wonder why I'm a tiny bit fluffy...look at them. They are BOTH feeding me. I am not a goat.

You'd think we were at Olan Mills or something. We were actually on my first slide. It's ok Mom and Dad. Still only 9 months.

My favorite place to be. Brown Bear is liking it too.

See how much "leaner" I'm getting?

Boys, Bears, and Mumsy

Again, I apologize for this taking so long. Mom has not let me on the computer in a while, well about three months. I am still not crawling but did manage to get on all fours the other night for a while. Boy, you should have seen the excitment. It was so startling, I almost fell over. Don't know why, but I can't seem to figure out that going foward thing. This is the process I go through. Ooh, toy across the room looks like fun to play with, then move and all the effort, I only get FARTHER from the toy, not closer. Bummer. I'm sure it will come in time.

I refuse to eat that silly baby food anymore. I gave that up 2 months ago. Whatever "table" food my parents are eating, that's what I want. For those of you 7 monthers out there, just try Dad's food. That mushy stuff is for babies.

While I have not figured out the "crawl" yet, as they call it, I do like to communicate to my parents. About 2 months ago, I told my mom "All done" after eating. She looked a little surprised, but eventually started understanding that since I heard her say it from day one, that now instead of her asking if I was all done, I'd just tell her. I am learning to use it in all settings too. Seems good for being done bathing, sleeping, eating, and playing. Also, waving is real fun. I started doing that 2 months ago as well, and my parents didn't even know I was doing it until some friends at our church noticed that yes, I was waving. I do that constantly at strangers... so fun. Also, when mom gets me up in the morning, I say "hi." She just thinks it's the cutest thing ever.

Well, that's about all my updates. Enjoy the entries.

BOYS:
Goodness, the sun was so bright, even Dad had to close his eyes.

While the lighting wasn't exactly "manly" I did enjoy hanging out with Dad in the jungle behind the slide.

Now this is what kind of plant?

Walking to the lake.

Ta da! Nothing better than a good old picture with some trees and my Pops.

As anyone can see, I am pretty tired in this picture. Pops sure was excited, but me, I needed a nap.

Ok, let's stand...(read that with a tired voice.)

Hangin out with Dad.

Smile...oh at the camera. Sorry.

Woops... this little kid caught my attention right at snap.

BEARS:
So Mom and I go to Target pretty often. I see things I want... doesn't mean I get them. But the day I met Brown Bear, it all changed.

He told me he'd be willing to come home and sleep with me. Since all I can say is "All done", I told Brown Bear, I didn't know how they'd ever know I wanted him...

But somehow that big ol' Brown Bear left Target and came home with me. Now, that was pretty cool. Wonder how they didn't see him following us.

MUMSY:
Yep, sittin all by little self in a thing called a high chair. And let me tell you it is so much better than a low chair; I can finally see what is going on up here.

This Mumsy is awfully close to me.

You got something to tell me?

Woah, she tricked me...can't a boy enjoy his meal without being smushed?

Oh, good she's done. Everyone smile and maybe we can eat.
