A Road of Development

The day started off with a beautiful wife commenting "I can't believe this day is finally here." For those of you unaware (trust me, 'unaware' is one thing we are not), today-June 29th 2007-marks the due date of our first child. Over nine months ago, on Wednesday October 18th 2006, Natalie and I received the joyous news of a baby soon to come. The time between that moment and present has been filled with wonderful memories:

  • Running marathons, baby showers, graduating seminary, sisters getting married, growing bellies, and the meeting of our new church family in Fayetteville GA (Berachah Bible).

Many of you have prayed for us during this time and for this we are grateful. Our God has been gracious and kind. We give Him praise as we await the next coming hours. This blog is to keep you, the ones we love, updated on what is going on in our growing family. Please visit often for updates, pictures, and prayer requests.

Love you all,

Wade and Natalie

Thank you for sharing this with us! We were just wondering aloud if little Grubbs had made his/her appearance yet, and we received the link to this blog. We pray you're doing well these last days before your lives will be forever blessed beyond measure. We can't wait to hear, and can't wait to see you again!

Wade and Natalie,
your name lends itself to so many quirky blog titles. Let's see, how about, "Grubbs Bloggs"? Of course if you choose to use that, the licensing fee will be minimal.
Take care and we pray all goes well.

Natalie and Wade,

Great blog, and so fun we can all stay connected this way! I can hardly wait for little Grubbs to arrive. I'm with Casey. People are calling daily saying, "Have you heard anything yet?" I assure them it won't be long now. :)

I'm so excited. I think of you guys constantly, and I pray for you to have a safe and smooth delivery. Give Nat's belly a kiss for me, Wade. Soon I'll get to hug you three in person.

xoxo, Mumsy

God is good -- all the time. "See you in September" (in case you don't know -- that's an OLD song from my time.) We'll be checking the blog to see when little grubbs arrives.

Lawson Jacob Grubbs - the music in our hearts sings those names and we will carry them always and always with thanksgiving and joyfulness.
What a wonderful addition to this loving family who probably will spoil Lawson a lot; especially their Aunts, Abigail and Lindsay and Casey. Love to the three of you

Hey There Wade & Natalie,
I tell you, your blog is GREAT because it truly displays how beautiful your "Better half" is Wade (ha, ha, ha). You are truly a beautiful pregnant Mommy, Natalie, outside, but mostly inward. Okay, okay, Wade, you're beautiful also (yes, I mean it).
It is so wonderful to see that God has given you two two special inward gifts: Baby Grubbs and Himself. The latter will give you the grace in times of GREAT need with the former. He's so loving!
Well, gotta go. Just want to let you know that Gary & I love you and will miss you, especially how you teach our children in Juniors on Sunday, Wade.
Love You A Whole Big Bunch,
GAry & Toya

Indeed the Lord is good. God bless you three and may the Lord God continue to bless you with many more arrows to fill your quiver.

Congratulations to you Wade and Natalie and the awesome responsibility that has now been given to you to love and gaurd the soul God has blessed you with. You now have a very personal mission field that will bring scripture to life in ways you have only since read about. You know the Lord's love, mercy and grace. Now you will know it even deeper as you see your love for Lawson and how it mirrors the Father's love for you two.

Upon marriage, two become one and worship the Trinity in ways we could not do so as two. With this blessing comes even more ways Praise and Glory is to be offered up to such an awesome God as our true and living God creator Christ Jesus. Praise God forever more. Your cup is overflowing!

Lawson -I'm waiting to get your bike size!! I love your pictures with your beautiful Mom and Dad. Greatmom sent them to the place where I worked in downtown Marshall and everyone is admiring them all. And remember, you can't ride without a helmet.

And Greatmom says - It's great to have you here. You'll love the family when you get to know all of us. We all adore you and can't wait to spoil you. And we all think you are the most handsome baby boy we ever saw.
